Description |
Seven districts integrate the Porto Subway network: Póvoa de Varzim, Vila do Conde, Maia, Matosinhos, Porto, Vila Nova de Gaia and Gondomar. It started with four lines, 58km, 67 stations (14 of them being underground stations), with the following connections:
> Estádio do Dragão – Matosinhos; > Estação do Dragão – Póvoa do Varzim; > Campanhã – ISMAI; > Hospital de S. João – V.N. de Gaia. The latest line to be built (Gondomar Orange line) has its origin station in Campanhã, and follows all the way to Fanzeres, in Gondomar (9 stations), in an extension of 6 625 m, being that 980 m are through tunnels. During its construction the following activities were developed:
> Environmental Studies (first phase 1999-2006)
> Environmental Management System Development, according to ISSO 14001 > Environmental Verification ( first phase 1999-2006) > Development of all documents and procedures for Environmental Management System of all in site construction activities > Monitoring Campaigns |
